The Renown Mk2 Steering Column bushing, is a part no longer available from VW. Many parts are evaporating and no one makes them any more so we decided to offer it to the VW Mk2 Enthusiasts who are still driving their cars hard and don't want the shakes going over bumps. Often times (as you'll see when you remove your column bolt), the bushing is half gone, crunched up and/or missing completely. This makes a very sloppy steering feel, no good for feeling confident when canyon carving with your ol' VW. CNC'd from Delrin with much tighter fitment than even the original, we've left a flange off one side so this can be installed without removing your steering column! Yes, you can do it all from underneath the dash, I just did it - not a fun Job doing anything under a dashboard but I'll walk you through upon receiving your order, so it shouldn't take more than a 1/2 hour with basic tools like a 13mm.
